So once again, the Graphic 1 students are going beyond the normal role of designer. Not only were the students asked to design the CD Case and CD for an artist/band, but the artist/band themselves! It would be too easy to just redesign a concept for someone else, so this ensures that their creativity is being pushed to the limits! These CD's are some of the best that I've seen in 3 years...cohesive, creative and inspiring...enjoy!
Alright, so Graphik Impakt held me back from posting all of these stunning game designs earlier, but finally...here they are! This project is really great, becasue not only are the students designing the video box, but the actual game as well. These aren't existing games that the students redesign, but rather original concepts they come up with first.... I just love their creativity. This is the best from the bunch! Enjoy....
So once again, we got some pretty creative solutions to another design equation! Type, texture and color come together to create poster designs for our upcoming art/design exhibition, Graphik Impakt 2011. Click here to visit the official site!
OK! Well, this took me a long time to get up, but it also took my students a long time to get them all turned in so that I could actually see who did what... without further ado, here is the best of the best!--AND the best they are...these students should be really proud of what they accomplished with all their hard work and dedication to this project!
Let me begin by saying with confidence, these self portraits are the best I've seen in 3 years here at Treasure Coast High School. We've had really good ones in the past, but across the board this year, we've seen such an improvement! If everyone knew how much work went into these, then I think any audience member would be as proud as I am when I look at these... AND FROM BEGINNING GRAPHIC 1 STUDENTS! Way to go guys and girls!
This is always a fun project... the graphic I students get to design holiday inspired cards for teachers and staff around campus, and give them out to them for the holidays... keep in mind, everything done on these cards is done from scratch! This is only their second project, and as you can see, they are really starting to get the hang of the program! Let them know how they did by leaving a comment below... enjoy!
Well, we finally have some work! This project is not easy, and really sets the tone for the curriculum in Graphic Design I. This project included research, writing, sketching and illustrating from scratch in Adobe Illustrator. For an overview of the project click here....
Enjoy! As soon as we get to our first project, work will start being posted here in our Student Spotlight for Graphic 1. This is a great place to see all of the great work being done in our classes, as well as a great place to see what your classmates have done in your class, and the other classes as well.
