Here is this year's batch of Video Games... the student's had to  over come lots of different design issues... firstly, they had to create their own concepts for the game.  The students had to create a video game based completely off their concept and see it through to the end.  They make it look so much easier than it really is.... especially since so many of the tools have just been learned...
 
So here's the latest release of the great graphic design our 1st year graphic arts students have done this year.  This time, the posters advertising this year's annual Graphik Impakt show are in the student's hands.... and below you're going to see the top performers from my classes.  Keep in mind, this is the first project they are truly completing using a new program.  Lets all show them the support they deserve... So these were the finals for Graphic I... these students are putting together many different skills that they have learned so far, and they are doing this for the first time on this kind of scale... they should be really proud of themselves for all the hard work and dedication they showed throughout this project... What you are about to see is the culmination of a multi-layered assignment that really forced the students to tackle a huge issue.  On the most basic level, students were asked to create a poster that championed a social issue... anything from environmental issues to domestic issues to teen issues.  On top of that, they were asked to research and write about that topic.  The writing could only be a very specific length, and it had to cover certain issues. 

 
As soon as the student work starts coming, you'll start to see the work posted.  Any day now...!
