It seems that traditional bills and coins are going the way of the Dodo as we move closer and closer to a cashless society. It’s your task to save the helpless bartering system through the power of design! It’s your task to redesign money. But don’t just redesign what the bills and coins look like. Think about how they are used, and what the alternatives might be. Are they bills and coins at all? Do bills need another shape? What materials are they made from? Consider all aspects of the concept of barter, both in the practicality of the objects and the value of the individual items.
